Hey there—I’m Gigi. A world-traveling entrepreneur and writer with a special love for inspiring stories, new places, and living in the moment. In May 2012, I sold my stuff and took to the road with a growing business and a pint-sized pooch to travel the world full-time.
In just a couple short months, I’ll hit my four-year anniversary of traveling the world full-time.
In those four years, I’ve done a lot.
I’ve lived in Switzerland, hiked in Scotland, and descended into the Grand Canyon. I’ve written seven travel guides, interviewed some of the world’s top chefs, and spent quite a few long, lazy days in Mexican hammocks.
And I’ve eaten a whole lot of food—real Italian balsamic vinegar aged over 25 years, bull heart tomatoes from Switzerland, the famous artichokes of Rome, baguettes in Paris, and shrimp tacos on a Mexican beach.
Food has been a big part of my journey. And so I’ve decided to start sharing that part of the journey with you here. Not just my foodie finds around the world, but also my own recipes, kitchen experiments, and tricks for cooking and eating well while traveling.
So begins a new little blog. The Tales of a Taste Tester…one girl’s worldwide foodie journey.
